CMI A Blueprint
Ruth was a member of the academic advisory board for the CMI A Blueprint for Balance Report 2018 which highlights some best practice for gender balance and also suggestions for ways to increase diversity and challenge second generation gender bias.
Ruth worked with the team to refine the research focus and support the lead researcher in her work. We challenged and informed the discussion of the findings from the perspective of our own knowledge and expertise. Our role was also to monitor the balance between the academic and business focus. Ruth contributed a section on leadership development and its role in supporting and developing diversity and gender equality. You can read Ruth’s comments on page 17 of the report.
